So yeah, in case you didn't pick up on it, this is a parody of a very well known Green Day song called "Basket Case". I actually had made a lower quality version of this back in July, and figured that with today being a special day, I would give this a bit of a tweak.

What is today you ask? Well, on this day one year ago, I first broke down and watched my first episode of MLP: FiM. So, yes, this is technically my Broniversary, I guess you could say.

And I chose this song to re-master for this occasion for a number of reasons.

1. This parody was written based off of my original thoughts and feelings when I first started watching the show.
2. The original post of this song was the first of my videos to actually attract any attention from the community (or anyone for that matter).
3. To an extent, every lyric in this song still applies to me in a way. Granted, I've become much more comfortable with being a Brony, but it's still rather hard to talk about outside my Brony friends.

Also, I always really liked this particular song. I could never really find a reason why I liked it, but I remember singing along with it on the radio a lot before I even knew what the words were. But I digress...

I want to thank some awesome people that helped out a bunch with this.

First off I want to thank Rockin' Brony for recording the guitar parts for this, because I'm still learning how to play this song. Yeah, but he did an awesome job with the guitar parts for this, and added in a solo in the middle there that made it all the more AWESOME, so go bug him on his YouTubes because he's awesome and he knows it.

Second I want to thank Bugplayer who did the cover art for this video. Rockin' Brony got in contact with him for the cover art the same day that I asked him to record the guitars and he pumped this art out LIKE A BOSS, and it turned out amazingly, so go tell him that he's awesome on his DA account and watch the crap out of him!

And third I want to thank a good friend of mine that I've credited in many of my other videos, but you probably won't recognize right away because he's gone through a name change recently, WonderPony (DJ Pegasix). He took time out of his after-school-life to put together this awesome video with the cover art I gave him from Bugplayer and he's trying to put together video animations for a visual radio station he's working on launching on Canterlot Hill, so go show him a ton of support because he's really awesome, and he needs to know it!
